Industrial Applications
Standard protection systems often can’t meet the unique demands of industrial environments. Harsh conditions, high mechanical loads, chemical exposure, and strict safety regulations require specialized approaches.
TRUMER develops custom-engineered solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure and production flows. Whether it's protecting sensitive equipment, reinforcing critical structures, or meeting niche safety requirements our systems are tailored for maximum performance and durability.
By combining flexible design, advanced materials, and close collaboration with our clients, we ensure protection systems that are reliable, efficient, and built to last even in the most challenging industrial settings.
Reference projects
Paper factory, Switzerland
For a completed project, the high-performance ISOFIX wire rope mesh was used as a customized solution to reliably protect facades from falling paper rolls. Thanks to a precise computer simulation, the components were optimally selected and dimensioned. The unique design combines maximum energy absorption with maximum flexibility without putting any load on the hall structure.
Limestone quarry, Austria
A special solution was developed to protect a sedimentation tower located just 2 meters from the edge of a rugged rock face. An on-site inspection led to the special combination of an Omega-net for slope stabilization and a rockfall barrier. Immediately after installation, a rock measuring over 2 m³ fell into the Omega-net, which successfully dissipated the impact. This confirmed the effectiveness of the system and ensured the long-term safety of the structure.
Underground, Austria
A key pedestrian access route beneath the Mönchsberg, linking a major underground parking garage to Salzburg’s historic old town, was secured using the TRUMER Sigma Netting. This underground walkway is vital for visitor flow. To ensure pedestrian safety from potential rock release activities the tunnel crown above the path was stabilized with the rectangular mesh and a precisely defined anchor raster. The result: reliable, long-term protection in a high-traffic urban environment.
